There is a fine line between romance and uncomfortable moments when it comes to a man. This makes finding romantic presents for a man a trick proposition.
It seems that men have it easy when it comes to finding a romantic present. Most women are thrilled to receive a dozen long-stemmed roses or a box of fine chocolates. Jewelry or teddy bears are universally loved by nearly all women. Unfortunately, many women find it harder to buy a romantic present for a guy. While there are some men who love flowers and teddy bears, most men will want something more masculine.
Men tend to view romance a little different than women. A woman will appreciate a present because of the thought put into it. Men like this too. However, they also want a present they can use. Most men do not enjoy flowers because they die in a few days. Give them a present they want. They will find it more romantic than any “mushy” love poem or heart shaped box of chocolates.
One of the most romantic things a woman can do is truly listen to her partner. Remember the time he was talking about the golf clubs he really wanted? Do you recall the name of the CD that just came out that he really wants? Pay attention to the little hints that your man drops. He will be surprised and thrilled when you bring home exactly what he was hoping for. Not only does he get the present he wanted, but it shows that you were listening to him and his desires.:
Another way to be romantic is to spend time doing something he enjoys. If your man is a sports fan, get him tickets to a game. Go with him. Do not complain about the game being boring or ask a bunch of questions as to what constitutes a strike. Buy yourself a cute team logo shirt. Pay attention to the game. Offer to go get the nachos for him so he doesn’t have to miss anything. In short, pay attention to what he is interested in. Most men will be happy to have you there with them. They want to share their interests with you, but become hesitant to do so when they think you do not care.
Most men love gadgets. For a romantic present that is sure to be appreciated, buy your man an MP3 player. Charge the battery and download some songs for him. Include songs that mean something to you as a couple. Does he have a favorite band? Load up the player with their entire discology. Some MP3 companies will even engrave something on the back of the player. A lyric from his favorite band is always a good choice. Does he enjoy photography? Pick up a digital camera and take a few shots of yourself wearing his favorite outfit. By doing this, your man gets a romantic present along with the gadgets he really wants.
