3 Major Factors Which Can Prevent And Correct Hair Loss

There have been many theories as to the cause of hair loss. One of the reasons that hair loss has been alluded to is weak blood circulation. This is not the case anymore as this and many other hair loss myths have been laid to rest. The main hair loss factors include hormones, health and stress.

Firstly, dihydrotestosterone or DHT as it is more commonly known is a hormone which is produced in males that is the leading culprit in male hair loss. DHT is such a menace to hair attacking it as much as ten times more potency than testosterone from which it is produced by the 5-alpha reductase enzyme. DHT needs to be checked it one is to regrow hair with DHT blockers. Excessive DHT causes an imbalance which triggers what is essentially an attack on the hair follicle which causes the hair to eventually stop growing and then eventually fall out. Essentially DHT blockers work by waking up essentially sleeping hair which then starts to regrow.

Intensively stressful periods in an individualís life can lead to hair falling out literally. Stress induced hair loss does not take effect immediately but while become visible in about three months after the initial stressful period the hair loss starts becoming visible. Three extra months will usually go by before hair regrowth can begin. Hair loss from stress is really something that should raise any alarms as it is the bodiesí way of sometimes healing itself from those stress attacks, but it needs to be watched as there is the chance that it can lead to genetic hair loss. Unfortunately if one is already loosing hair further stress can worsen an already bad situation.

Poor health can also play a role in hair loss both in men and women. Diabetics in research for instance have shown a higher rate of experiencing hair loss. The reason for this is that in most cases health factors inhibit the proper functioning of the blood vessels which carry most of the nutrients needed to nourish the hair roots.

With the modern developments in hair loss treatment a number of solutions are available for people suffering from hair loss. These treatments include both natural and conventional treatments. Fortunately they are effective and work to reverse the conditions that lead to hair loss itself and help hair regrowth so you donít have to live with the hair loss condition.
